Give a short description of your workplace and role at Eksjö Golf Club?
My office is located in Skedhult, a beautiful location just on the outskirts of Eksjö. I have been working as a Club manager here since march 2020. Eksjö GK was founded in 1938 and is one of the oldest golf courses in Swedens, and we are proud to be listed among the top 23 courses in Sweden by the Swedish Golf Association.
How come you started to play golf?
I started playing golf in 1999 with Mr Golf Eddy Eriksson at Skinnarebo Golf, located just outside of Jönköping.
What has the game meant to you as a woman?
Golf is a business dominated by men, so being a woman in this industry I got used to being the only woman in the room. Today, we see a lot more women entering the golf world and it is becoming more and more common for women to take on roles as Club managers, Board directors and even as Green-keepers, which is great.
What has this last year been like, on the course?
The year of 2020 will definitely become a historic golf year, because of the Corona virus. Over 11 million rounds were played in Sweden which is a tough record to break. We added up the total rounds played at Eksjö Gk and it summed up to one and a half golf season. It is a bitter sweet when the staff on and off the course is working day and night, at the same time as the business is doing better than ever.
Which is your best golf tip?
My best golf tip, is that golf is what it is, just play and have fun. It is never too late, everyone can start to play golf no matter their age or gender and it is a wonderful way for many generations to come together.

When I am not on the golf course I love spending time with my family; my husband, three daughters and three grandchildren at our family home at Mallorca.
Which course would you like to play if you could choose from all the courses in the world?
A course I would love to play again is beautiful Pinnacle Point in South Africa, located on the rocks next to the ocean.
